Model 170 The Bösendorfer Model 170, although the smallest of the grand pianos made by Bösendorfer at just 1 70 cms long (5' 8'), has an unsurpassed volume of sound and dynamic range. Due to its particular construction, the sound quality in the bass and the variety of the range of colours that can be achieved overall, combine to produce an exciting experience when playing this Bösendorfer. It is essential when playing the piano in smaller rooms for the clarity of sound to be crystal clear, even at low volumes, and the piano action and keyboard need to be completely controllable to allow the most precise piano playing. The use of the best top quality materials and the expertise of the traditional craftsmanship of Bösendorfers' piano makers, combine to produce Bösendorfer pianos with their special character and value which will last for generations. The model 170 shown is finished in Ebony high polish, but if requested, Bösendorfer pianos can be produced in a variety of wood finishes including Mahogany, Rosewood, Bird's Eye Maple, Walnut or even a finish customized to your own specific requirements.
